People magazine reported on Friday that Love Me to Death, the romance fantasy webtoon created by Toonimated co-founders Julian Jauregui and Tara Mueller, is officially getting a graphic novel adaptation. Little, Brown Ink — an imprint of Little, Brown Books for Young Readers — will release the first volume on January 13, 2026. A second volume is set to follow in 2027.
Originally launched in July 2022, the webtoon’s story reads:
A lonely necromancer named Victor is hired to resurrect a wealthy man’s bride. Victor accepts, hoping to get the job done quickly, only to find himself magically entangled with the bride and groom and caught in the middle of more romance than he knows what to do with.
The series centers on a polyamorous relationship between a wealthy patron, his deceased bride, and a necromancer named Victor who brings her back to life. Love Me to Death has amassed over 31 million views and more than 551,000 subscribers. The webtoon is expected to conclude in fall 2025.
The graphic novel adaptation will include new lore and an original chapter focused on a fan-favorite character.
Love Me to Death is now available for pre-order.
Fans can read the webtoon version on WEBTOON.
